What to Expect

Laying the foundation

Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in sequence in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care . .

Phase 1: Initial Intensive Care

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better.  This care phase is designed to give you relief and ensure maximum up-front healing.

Phase 2: Reconstructive Care

Reconstructive care begins when Initial Intensive Care is complete.  The objective of Reconstructive Care is to improve your whole body health allowing muscles, nerves, ligaments and other tissues to heal more completely, thereby preventing further injury. This allows the body to begin to rebuild itself.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed, it is time to begin Wellness Care. Weekly or bi-weekly spinal check-ups allow you to continue to increase your whole body health and create the greatest degree of wellness throughout your lifetime.  Wellness patients make health a priority for themselves and their family.
